Nokia's financial results revealed that it received € 1.7 billion from Apple last May as a down payment to settle litigation disputes over patents.
Nokia announced last May that it had reached a patent licensing agreement with Apple and canceled all mutual issues between the two companies. The good relations between Apple and Nokia have returned in terms of the commitment of the American company to pay periodic fees as well as one large batch mentioned here, and also sell the two companies products of each other.
Apple's relationship with Nokia dates back to 2011 when they signed a patent licensing agreement, but last year Apple accused Apple of violating several patents owned by its subsidiaries.
Due to Nokia's long experience in the mobile world and owning a large number of patents in almost every area, from screens to receiver antennas, some of them had to be hacked and used for iPhone.
The Nokia-Apple war has spread to several countries, but Apple has seen that Nokia monopolizes the patent market and demands excessive fees. The bad relationship has reached the point where Nokia's health products are withdrawn from Apple's stores and sold.
